| The rings on this page are the first of what I hope will be an ongoing series of jewelry pieces for men. As in most of my designs, I take a minimalist approach, letting the featured stone or metal speak for itself without having to compete for visual attention. I've personally worn each of these designs before I produced the series. I wanted to make certain that each ring would be comfortable to wear and would look appropriate in a variety of environments. Only after I was satisfied with the "wearability" did I produce the pieces you see here. Each one is individually hand crafted. This
men's ring uses a large piece of raw silver as its centerpiece. The
silver is embedded in quartz, just the way it comes out of the
ground, with no processing or refining. Very unusual! After
shaping and polishing the stone, I used Platinum
Silver (.925) for the shank. The addition of platinum adds a
substantial hardness and "whiteness" to the silver and prevents
tarnishing. I hand-engraved an elegant leaf scroll design into the
shank and finished it all off with a 14k gold bezel and twisted rope
accent. Please allow 2-3 weeks for

This men's ring incorporates an
extraordinary piece of Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan. The intense blue
of the lapis is filled with tiny specks of gold Pyrite which adds to the
richness of the stone. It's like looking into a sky at dusk and seeing the
stars starting to come out. I used Platinum Silver (.925) for the shank. The

This is a hand
engraved Men's Onyx Ring. There's something about the combination
of pure black Onyx with gold and silver that's simply timeless. I
used platinum silver (.925)for the shank and hand-engraved into it an
elegant leaf script. With platinum silver you won't have to worry
about tarnishing and it has a "whiter" look than sterling. I set
the stone off with a 14k gold bezel and twisted rope accent. This
